“Sharing in Companionship, Journeying in Sustainability” Donation Programme
To continue its mission of faith, promote education, and flourish
culture, the Catholic Centre of Macao is pleased to announce the
official launch of the “Sharing in Companionship, Journeying in
Sustainability” Donation Programme. We warmly invite all sectors
of society to join us in sowing the seeds of hope for the future of the
Macau community.
Since its establishment in 1962, the Catholic Centre of Macao has
served as a significant landmark and a spiritual home for the local
community. Over the past sixty years, the Centre has witnessed
Macau’s social transformation and has become a shared memory for
its citizens. Therefore, to honor this legacy, the funds raised will be
dedicated to developing various initiatives that benefit the
community, ensuring that the Catholic Centre of Macao continues to
serve the public for generations to come.
The “Sharing in Companionship, Journeying in Sustainability” Donation Programme aims to
Support the construction and daily operations of the Catholic
Centre of Macao
Laying the material and cultural foundation for community services, ensuring the center's efficient daily operation, and continuously providing the public with diverse, high-quality, and stable spaces and activities.
Reduce the burden of loans and interest incurred during the
rebuilding process
This directly alleviates the financial burden of historical reconstruction, reduces interest expenses, and allows valuable funds to be prioritized for core social services and public welfare projects.
Maintain and preserve the Centre’s facilities
Regular maintenance, repair, and upgrades to existing building equipment ensure the safety, comfort, and hygiene of public spaces, fundamentally extending the lifespan of the building's infrastructure.
Sustain long-term development, including essential
infrastructure and hardware support
Investing in green and modern digital hardware, along with innovative supporting facilities, will reduce long-term energy consumption and operating costs, enabling a next-generation sustainable development blueprint.
